Does Alien = Invasive?

Any alien species may be suspected of being invasive, but not all are. There is little doubt about some of the species listed here, but not all are invasive, even though they are alien. The remarks pertaining to each species are intended to clarify why that species has been included. The species list is so inclusive that you don't need to worry about most of the species --- many species are listed because they've been reported as being invasive elsewhere and because they occur in Alberta or adjacent provinces or states.
