[edit] Leafy Spurge

Euphorbia esula

[edit] Remarks

The roots spread, forming dense patches. Fish Creek Park and nearby areas in Calgary (south to Pine Coulee) are extensively infested. Infestations are encroaching on the small patches of grasslands on south-facing slopes along Whitemud Creek in Edmonton. In sagebrush (A. tridentata) steppe severe infestations often occur after a fire (where seed is available), and prevent recovery of the previously established vegetation.
