[edit] Remarks
Grown as an ornamental in gardens and used by florists, a major component in some degraded natural (or disturbed and naturalized) areas. Avoid using in gardens, and discard floral arrangements in a way that will destroy any viable seed.
There are large patches of baby's breath along highway 555, east of Jenner. The senescent clumps break off and roll across the prairies in a manner similar to Russian thistle. Dana Bush
