Remarks

Initially a weed of urban industrial areas, now rapidly expanding in range. Some urban natural areas, rural tree nurseries, and montane zone roadsides (along with adjacent forest) are extensively infested. Has become common since publication of 2nd edition of Moss. It is becoming common in Edmonton natural areas, and reportedly has potential to extend further north, and to higher (even subalpine) elevations.
