According to the Flora of Alberta(Moss) and Alberta Conservation Information Management System (ACIMS) All Elements list (2014), Salsola kali L. the only species of Salsola we have in Alberta.


Salsola pestifer A. Nels. is a no longer an accepted synonym for S. tragus.

The USDA Plants Database is not consistent with Moss and ACIMS. It shows S. tragus as the only Salsola species that occurs in Alberta.
